Job Description

Macildowie are working with an established sportswear specialist based in Leicestershire who are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager that is passionate about all things Sports!The objective of the role will be to develop a profitable sales presence with key accounts, potential key accounts and chase new business as defined by the CEO. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has established relationships within the world ofteamwear, having already worked on key accounts in this area, if not wholesale/B2B sales. The Sales Manager would also have overall responsibility of sales and customer service teams and work closely with the E-Commerce Manager.Responsibilities:

  • Identify & Manage relationships with all current UK and International Key Accounts
  • Identify & Manage relationships with current customers who have the potential to be future key accounts
  • Build new areas of business via new or existing customers
  • Identify new customers and create strategy to gain to customers
  • Build profile and increase volume, distribution, and profit in line with the companys philosophy
  • Create Budgets and manage all sales targets
  • Support sales manager in inbound sales traffic
  • Work with set budgets and targets with the finance manager to ensure clarity, agreement to then achieve
  • Report monthly to CEO/COO sales target/leads etc
  • Manage, lead, organise and attend all potential trade shows
  • Manage follow ups leads post shows
  • Create and Manage CRM system/process
  • Place all orders on internal system for operations team to manage
  • Manage accounts payments inbound when required
The candidate:
  • Experience of working in a Senior Sales role
  • Passion for all things Sports
  • 2.1 degree Business - desirable but not essential
  • Microsoft Office skills strong excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to present to Key Accounts
  • Line management experience
  • Driving License
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and target driven
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on new issues and to make sound judgements on them
  • Having a can-do, problem-solving attitude
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
