Job Description

Macildowie are pleased to be partnered exclusively with this growing and well established business based south of the City Centre on their search for an experienced, dedicated and hands on a Accounts Payable Supervisor. This role will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.This is a new role to the business and your main purpose in this position will be to lead a small successful ledger team based both on-site and remotely to ensure a smooth and simple payment and collection process, you will be a hands on leader with greatpeople management skills and be adaptable to pick up additional tasks as requested by your line manager.Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a small team, conducting appraisals, 121s delegating work load etc
  • Reconciling payments, cash, card & direct debits against the ledgers
  • Proactively managing and reconciling account queries
  • Perform daily invoicing run
  • Update daily cashbooks
  • Ensure all customer files are kept up to date in line with internal controls
To Be successful in this role your experience will have:
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have great and proven people management skills
  • Be qualified by experience or have a relevant accounting qualification
  • Have a good technical understanding of large scale reconciliations
  • Ideally have experience managing or mentoring a few team members and be keen to expand that knowledge
