Product Designer - Kiosks - CAD - Leicestershire - £35-60KMy client is an award-winning design and manufacturer for specialised electronic kiosks and are currently looking to expand their product design team given an increase in exciting new projects they are currently working on.Main Duties:+ To generate all design related drawings in either 2D or 3D, delivering quality through design, ensuring repeatable alignment to specifications+ Develop design documentation and requirements specifications for product range and assigned projects+ Ability to analyse and resolve design related issues in a timely manner+ Drive manufacturing efficiencies within operations, delivering appropriately costed designs+ To support new product design with hands on workshop time - prototyping+ To share and be involved in new product design and implementation from cradle to grave through the NPI processKey Skills:+ Design of enclosures, ruggedised products, electronic devices, or anything sheet-metal based+ Highly skilled in 2D AutoCAD and 3D Solid Edge would be preferable+ Experience in design for manufacture+ Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet-metal fabrication+ Experience of developing complex mechanical solutions+ Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)The salary will be between £35,000 - £60,000, with the company able to offer more for exceptional candidates.
