Job Description

Interim Procurement ManagerContract Duration: 4 MonthsWorking Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM (1-hour lunch break)Work Arrangement: 1-2 days in the office, remainder from homeLocation: LeicestershireDay Rate: NegotiableRole Overview:We are currently working with a fantastic client who has doubled in growth recently and is seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Manager for a 4-month contract. This role involves managing and optimising procurement processes, particularly with a focus on technology.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Request for Pricing (RFP) processes, including collation, review, and feedback.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
  • Conduct supplier management activities, including ISO audits and contract renewals.
  • Oversee supplier on-boarding processes and improve their robustness.
  • Handle procurement of technology-related items such as software packages, licences, hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with finance to monitor and ensure budgeted project spending.
  • Research and evaluate new suppliers to align with company needs and values.
  • Review performance of existing suppliers to ensure continued compliance and performance.
Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Extensive experience in procurement processes (RFI, RFP, contract drafting, negotiation, and supplier management).
  • Proven experience in identifying, reporting, and mitigating third-party risks.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
