Press Brake Operator My engineering based client who work out of Syston are looking for a press brake operator/ setter on rotational shifts or night shifts. The shifts are 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm. You will be working with a small team in a fast paced environment and a growing Systonbusiness which is set to expand in the next couple of years. Please be aware that the noise levels can be loud in the factory.You must be ok travelling to Syston on a daily basis.RequirementsPerform typical press operations to produce materials according to specifications and on schedule.Inspect the materials produced for quality and conformity; correct any inconsistencies.Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.Exemplary motor skills are required for the position, as brake press machines have multiple settings and levers that must be adjusted for each job and quickly manipulated through the steps of creating finished products.Good analytical and mathematical skills to interpret drawings, templates and blueprints.Must be able to read gauges, tape measure and other measurement tools.Manufacturing and engineering experience would be beneficial.If you are interested in this engineering role please send your CV over to me.Net Temps supplies temporary, freelance and permanent labour to the construction, and manufacturing industries across the UK.
