Job Description

Part Time Management AccountantJob Description We are currently seeking a Part Time Management Accountant to join our clients team in Leicestershire. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate is expected to work part-time hours circa 20 per week from the companies Head Office location. Job Duties:

  • Preparing and analysing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Providing financial advice and support to management, helping them make informed business decisions.
  • Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing financial statements for statutory reporting purposes.
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaising with external auditors.
  • Managing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assisting in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and controls.
  • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of financial and management accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of UK accounting regulations and standards.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
  • Experience with financial reporting and budgeting software.
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets and other financial tools.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
Working Conditions: This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week. The work environment is office-based, operating within standard office hours.Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (pro-rata based on part-time hours).
