Job Description

Job Title: Paint SprayerLocation: South LeicestershireSalary: £10 - £11 per HourJob type: Temp to permThe RoleA great opportunity is available for a full time job as a paint sprayer based in south Leicester. This is a day shift position. This role will be to provide superior standards of paint finish on in house manufactured Engineering equipment. Other responsibilities will include;

  • Checking goods before dispatch.
  • Fitting of some small components onto equipment after spraying.
  • Responsible for industrial painting and general light engineering tasks in house.
  • Working to tight deadlines to meet the needs of the business.
  • Adhering to company health and safety procedures.
  • In a spray area with fume extraction - not a spray booth.
    • The CandidateYou will be an experienced (wet) paint sprayer. You will also be able to demonstrate the following;
  • Experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Experience using cellulose spray paint and prepping on metal products.
  • Experience at paint preparation and spraying, and have worked in a busy workshop environment.
  • The ability to produce work of high quality.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach towards working hour.
  • Competent user of various hand tools.
  • A fork lift licence, and overhead crane traing is essential
  • Having a FLT license is desirable but not essential.
