Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Multi-trade operative on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Leicestershire (LE4).You will provide quality, customer focused repairs, maintenance and improvement work toproperties and other buildings.Duties will include:

  • Undertakes a range of repairs & maintenance tasks of a core trade to the agreed quality and performance standards
  • Undertakes assessments of repairs and maintenance work required and take appropriate action to rectify
  • Actively manages the stock of parts and equipment on vehicles to ensure the most efficient completion of work
  • Directs and supervises apprentices and other assigned trainees
  • Liaises with service customers before, during and after repair & refurbishment work, to ensure the least possible inconvenience, including agreeing suitable appointments
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Candidatesmust have 2391 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of using associated skills to complete electrical repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Experience of working in occupied domestic properties and dealing with residents, including vulnerable people
  • Experience of carrying out maintenance of installations including tracing, diagnosing, and rectifying of faults.
  • City and Guilds 2382:2018 (18th Edition of the wiring regulations)
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 in electrician installation or equivalent electrical industry qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid CSCS card- desirable
