Job Description

We are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Maintenance Planner for a temporary position that will run until the end of June 2023, based onsite in Stoney Stanton, LeicestershireAs the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring an effective maintenance plan is delivered on time in line with all relevant legislation and to the Clients Specifications.The role will be supporting the Maintenance Manager ensuring the continued safe operation of all plant and equipment within an Upper Tier COMAH site (and lower tier COMAH satellite break bulk sites where applicable).The role is also responsible for managing all plant spares and consumables through close monitoring of stock levels, ordering on time, raising purchase orders and goods receipting.Pay: £13.33 to £14.58 per hour depending on experience.Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week - not including weekends. Starting at 8.30amRequirements for the role:

  • Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3, HNC, Apprentice trained or be time served in a mechanical, electrical, process or chemical discipline
  • IOSHH Safety Qualification (or be willing to attain)
  • Competent in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) e.g., SAP, PEMAC, Maximo
  • Working Knowledge of Permit to Work and other safe systems of work essential
  • Needs to work closely with external contractors, ensuring services are secured and planned in to meet work order due dates
  • Previous experience of working in Hazardous Areas / COMAH sites would be highly beneficial
  • Experience of creating maintenance and resource plans using appropriate software highly desirable
  • Must be familiar with planned preventative maintenance regimes
  • Working knowledge of stock control and ordering systems essential
  • Working knowledge of COMAH, Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) & Asset Integrity requirements essential
  • Must be fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages
  • Raising POs and receipting
  • SAP experience would be desirable
To be considered for the above opportunity you must be eligible to live and work in UK and hold a full driving licence that is valid for you to drive in the UK given the location of the site. You must also be medically fit to drive.
