Maintenance Engineer Leicestershire Salary up to £34,000 SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer based in Leicestershire. Working as part of a team of engineers the role will report into the Maintenance Manager. You will ensure all plant and equipment downtime is kept to a minimum and buildingupkeep is maximised through efficient response times, continuous improvements, data acquisition and analysis, whilst maintaining and developing a positive attitude towards costs, quality and health and safety. Responsibilities Mechanical diagnostic/fault finding techniques and the application of remedial work in a breakdown situation. Electrical/mechanical competences, welding, machining, and fabrication skills are required to enable the engineer to carry out various "general maintenance" tasks within the engineering field. Root cause analysis carried out online performance and stoppages. Production line monitoring and TPM. Awareness of Production OEEs and strive to make improvements to the OEEs. H&S checks and equipment compliant, in place and working. Recording tasks and store withdrawals, complying with all required quality system requirements, and raising non-conformities where necessary. Routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery. Participate in projects as and when required. You will need to have solid Mechanical experience with a knowledge of electrical fault finding on PLCs. A bias towards Mechanical experience is preferred. Diagnostics and electrical breakdown experience. You must be skilled to C&G level / NVQ. In return youcan expect work in great team environment with great benefits.
