We are looking for a Lead Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our clients team in Leicestershire. Essential Responsibilities:·Software project leadership of software engineers·Act as the technical lead for the architecture, concept design, implementation, reviews and the testing of the embedded software system·Accountable for the on-time delivery of quality robust solutions·Technical expert in the development of software systems: both bare metal and with an RTOS ·Function as programme manager when appropriate·Have the ability to influence, suggest and proactively implement process and methodology improvements ·Leverage expertise to resolve technical issues, in the field or manufacturing processQualifications/Experience: ·5+ years hands on experience in a lead position of full-life cycle embedded software development·2+ years of project and team leadership experience leading to the demonstrable delivery of successful business solutions·Highly skilled at development and verification using C/C++ and C#·Experienced with design and debugging using IDEs (IAR, CCS, Visual Studio, Momentics, Eclipse)·Degree or equivalent qualification in Software/Electronic Engineering·Development of STM32 and similar microprocessor and microcontroller embedded UI, application and driver software·Development of a multi-processor embedded linux system using Ethernet embedded communicationsIf you feel this is the right opportunity for you, please apply as soon as possible!
