Job Description

Gaming Economy Analyst A global powerhouse within the technology industry are looking for a Gaming Economy Analyst to join their team on an 18 Month Contract - The role will be onboarded remotely before eventually joining the team in Twycross (with a flexible working arrangement).ROLE PURPOSEWe want to leverage our data further to build out a more robust, long term strategy about all the economies within one of our gaming titles. This role will bring experience and clarity to our monetisation experience and teams, enabling us to further improve and enrich the player experience.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Build and create understanding of our in-game economies and share insights across the teams
  • Partner deeply with the Monetisation team delivering critical analysis and insight generation including:
  • Balancing of in game economies, building long term retention and engagement
  • Develop reporting to show sources and sinks and spot opportunities for the team to maximise their impact
  • Start helping the team get predictive about their capabilities and potential opportunities
  • Partner with rest of the analytics team to garner deeper insights
  • Participates in the analysis and evaluation of computer systems.
  • Prepares and obtains approval of system documentation.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analysing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
  • Research data and generates reports.
  • Develops in Access or Excel pivot tables, a standard set of queries against SQL Server databases.
  • Creates and formats SQL/Access reports.
  • May also create SQL/Access forms for launching queries and reports.
  • Works with Program Manager to identify tasks and scheduling.
    • REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience analysing economies
  • Excel data manipulation/presentation
  • SQL/Python/R skills
  • Power BI dashboard creation experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Communication and organisational skills
    • DESIRABLE CHARACTERISTICS
  • Understanding of Games/Games industry, including working on a monetised Games as a Service, or mobile titles
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • Experience with Scrum
