Youre the type of professional who knows how to spend timewisely, you sweat the financial details that matter, and you instinctively know which details dont add value.Main responsibilities: Leverages Customer Fulfillment metrics to identify cost out opportunities by linking up operations and financials and understandsthe details of the cost structure to make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be difficult to procure. Earn trust of your business partners to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions that lead to businessimprovements and cost reductions Owns the Financial and operational planning processes to produce a challenging/stretched/bold yet solid operational plan as well as all Month-end procedures including variance analysis between scenarios (actuals, Plan, Forecast...)Proactively supports knowledge-sharing within the team and across your division, while looking to standardize processes across EU teams Works independently: Proactively partners with manager to prioritize and focus on high-impact activities and to deprioritizethose which are unlikely to drive material improvementLearning opportunities: Autonomy to innovate and deliver new approaches that impact the bottom and the top line Grow and collaborate in a fast-paced environment where every day is day one Being surroundedby inspiring and diverse individuals Learn from people and cooperate with a wide variety of professional backgrounds Ability to develop new skills and opportunities through lateral, geographical or functional movesBasic Qualifications: Basic qualifications:BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or any similar discipline with a clear analytical bias, Youve gained significant, relevant experience in similar business analyst positions, Demonstrable financial acumen, including deep familiaritywith concepts of forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis, as well as in root cause data interpretation, Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency in Excel; youre comfortable with macros, pivots, lookups and more, Experienced with large-scale datamining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos): you can provide recommendations for strategic decision-making, Youre comfortable performing ad hoc financial analysis using data reporting toolsPreferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications:Demonstrable problem-solving ability, alongside previous analyst experience, particularly in root cause analysis, Highly analytical and detail-oriented, you possess a strong business sense, You combine your professional competency with an ability to developnew ideas, and creative solutions: you also have a track record of implementing these to great effect, Organised multitasker: you prioritise your workload, enabling you to meet tight deadlines, while achieving results, especially in a fast-paced, high-growthenvironment, Youre a proven communicator, with excellent presentation skills when working with multiple peer groups and varying levels of seniority, Previous analyst experience in the financial side of manufacturing, logistics or distribution centre processesis a nice to have.Were looking forward to receiving your application, preferably in English.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
