Job Description

Assistant Sales and Events Manager

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Sales and Events Manager to support theSales and Events Manager in a variety of tasks including staff management, customer relations, business development, pipeline management, booking management, and sales forecasting.This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in the hospitality sector, with a focus on creating exceptional event experiences ranging from weddings to conferences and craft fairs. Day to Day of the role:
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and assist with planning and delivery.
  • Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, room setup, and equipment rental.
  • Support budget management and cost analysis to ensure event profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials.
  • Handle event bookings and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to client inquiries, provide event details, and assist with contract negotiations.
  • Ensure smooth event execution by coordinating with internal departments.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups for feedback and to address any concerns.
  • Support staff management by assisting with recruitment, training, and supervision.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and assist in sales strategy development.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and proposals, and support pipeline management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales and events management within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost analysis.
  • Experience in staff management and team support.
  • Knowledge of market research, business development, and sales forecasting.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours and on weekends as required.
