A well established building and maintenance contractor based in Leicestershire are looking for an experienced Estimator / QS to join their team. The successful candidate will be adept at cost estimation, supplier management and possess a solid understandingof the construction industry across a wide variety of projects.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established building and maintenance contractor who work across a wide range of different types of projects including education, public sector, private works as well as one off types of projects. Operating in numerous locations acrossthe Midlands - their office is based in Leicestershire and they are recognised for their consistent delivery of high-quality building solutions.DescriptionYour role will involve working in both an estimating and surveying capacity on projects and enquiries coming into the business. You will be working alongside project managers to ensure that the enquiries are dealt with in a timely fashion as well as at acompetitive price. Your role will involve sourcing and ordering materials for these projects, whilst negotiating prices and suppliers.
