Job Description

Are you ready for a new challengeClient DetailsOur client is a growing retail business who have grown from strength to strength over the last twelve months and are looking for a talented Ecommerce Merchandiser to support the Digital team.DescriptionThe Ecommerce Merchandiser will be responsible for the following:

  • Help implement strategies to improve the customer experience and the trading performance of the website.
  • Through the CMS platform, ensure that the site is maintained and delivering to customer expectation, to maximise on-site traffic to commercialise every single visitor opportunity.
  • Ensure all content is SEO ready and working with our SEO partners to identify and implement areas of improvement.
  • Responsible for optimising the sales potential by executing clear tactical trading strategies, as well as working with the marketing and product
  • Work with the insight team to ensure the performance of all activity is correctly analysed, ROI is calculated, and outputs are used to inform future activity decisions.
  • Support the Buying and Merchandising team with product performance analytics and sales forecasting.
  • Work with our CRO/ UX team to deliver trial landing pages to maximise conversion on our website - e.g. Improve High bounce rate landing pages, initiate multi-variant and A/B split testing.
  • Focus on improving the core KPI metrics for the on-site conversion and product sample requests.
  • Day-to-day focus KPIS and management of all aspects of Ecommerce performance and functionality to ensure on-going growth and site optimisation.
  • ProfileThe successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
  • Strong organisational skills who can demonstrate experience in meeting tight deadlines.
  • You must be able to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
  • An understanding of the important principles of marketing in driving traffic and be enthusiastic about optimising the on-site experience for all traffic sources.
  • An understanding of the importance of closely tracking performance results and the ability to confidently present your findings to stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use data to understand cause and recommend solutions.
  • Confidence in oral and written communication, who enjoys building great relationships and working effectively and efficiently with our team
