Job Description

Were on the lookout for a Demand Planner to join our well-established client based ina village on the outskirts of Loughborough on a full-time, 12-month fixed term basis.This role offers up to £30K per annum.About the role:You will be responsible for leading the consensus demand planning process for the product line, managing the statistical forecast using specialised demand planning software and working with the commercial teams to improve the forecast using market intelligence.As a Demand Planner, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading appropriate SIOP initiatives to align commercial functions and manufacturing plants in the EMEA region for the product line.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Coordinators in the central Supply Chain organisation to ensure the output of the demand reviews are considered when implementing material replenishments across multiple ERP systems.
  • Adding market intelligence to the statistical forecast and document and present assumptions during Demand Reviews.
  • Validate and promoting data quality in complex data set by customer, country and product.
  • Reporting on exceptions to demand and potential sales trends to enable the leadership team to make informed decisions.
  • Recommending actions to the commercial teams based on investigations and root cause analysis, provide the input to the central Supply Chain organisation to maintain alignment.
  • Monitoring standard processes and KPIs, maintaining feedback and corrective actions.
About you:In order to be successful in the role the candidate will need the following specialised knowledge:
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of demand planning in high SKU environment
  • Knowledge of SAP, Demand Planning and Forecasting Software is essential
  • CRM knowledge would be preferable
  • The ability to work across functions and countries.
