Job Description

Contracts / Project Manager - Racking & Storage SolutionsLocation: Market Bosworth - Covering clients across the UKSalary: £30,000 - £50,000 + Benefits & Bonus + Company CarIndustry Sector: Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Warehouse Fit-Out, Racking, Shelving, Storage Solutions, Industrial Fit-Out, Commercial Fit-Out, Main Contractors, ContractorThe role of the Contracts Manager - Racking & Storage Solutions will involve:

  • Contracts manager position, managing multiple racking, mezzanine floors and office fit-out projects for the industrial market sector
  • Taking full ownership of projects from order stage through to successful completion
  • Produce method statements and risk assessments for all work undertaken
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety on site, including all suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Conduct on-site surveys and inspections
  • Control and manage project budgets
  • Vetting and liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry design codes and standards
  • Work with other staff members and teams to develop standards
  • Provide support to other staff members as required, including sales functions in bid preparation
  • Observe and promote all company rules, policies and safe working practices at all times
  • Ensure compliance with company quality management system and procedures
  • Working on projects with a budget up to £2 Million
Skills and Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH - Advantageous
  • Degree / Construction / Warehouse Background
  • Racking / Storage Experience - Highly Advantageous
