We are currently looking to recruit a fluent, Mandarin Speaking Assistant for our clients General ManagerThe candidate must be mandarin speaking and must be able to travel at all times based on where the General Manager will be working on the day. This includes travelling during the day between sites, such as as Leicester, Northampton, Dunstable,London & Milton Keynes etc..The working pattern will be Monday to Friday from 08:00 till 17:00. However the candidate should be flexible to work outside these day/hours at the clients request.Main Duties: Acting as the first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisationComplex diary management, both business and personal, for the General ManagerProcess the General Managers correspondence, ensuring that incoming correspondenceis dealt with by the General Manager/or on behalf of the Operations Director, or other staff as appropriate.Maintain the General Managers office systems, including data management and filingAssist the General Manager in researching and following upwith action on matters which fall within the General Managers responsibility - chasing responses and follow-up actionOrganise, co-ordinate and administer meetings as required, including preparation of agendas, collating papers and circulating agendas Taking notes at meetings, preparing the minutes and subsequently distributing to all participantsMake administrative decisions and take action in the clients absence.Typing, compiling, and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.Screeningphone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them in an appropriate mannerResponsible for monitoring internal stock levels and identifying purchasing needs for daily operationsAny other duties as may reasonably be required by the General Manager Follow up on projects progress and reportings with HQ in ChinaSkills Needed: Mandarin SpeakerEducated to degree level or equivalentProven work experience as a Personal AssistantProven ability to manage a flexible scheduleDiscretion and trustworthinessExemplary planning and time management skillsExcellent verbaland written communications skillsAbility to work under pressureFlexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlinesAttention to detailEssential experience in Microsoft Office- Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerpointPlease contact Mathew Maddison at The Recruitment Group or simply apply and I will contact you by return.
