Job Description

The One Group are recruiting for an accounts payable assistant based in Desford for a huge name within the manufacturing industry. This opportunity presents a six month temporary contract, that is likely to be extended further with business growth and development. The successful candidate will have proven experience within an AP role, and will be able to hit the ground running with the varied and fast paced responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices and credits onto the Accounts Payable Ledger
  • Account for the correct treatment of VAT, where applicable
  • Carry out supplier statement reconciliations and resolve differences
  • Verify details on the invoice match delivery details, quantities and price.
Our client will also consider a finance and accounting graduate for this position, as long as you have strong attention to detail, a confident and ambitious manner and have strong excel skills.
