Are you ready for a thrilling opportunity to join our dynamic team in Leicestershire as an Accounts Assistant If you have a passion for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, then this is the rolefor you!As an accounting assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the accounting records. You will record and maintain transactions on the accounting system, matching invoices with purchase orders and goods received notes, andobtaining approvals according to the Delegation of Authorities. You will also prepare weekly payment runs for senior Finance team members to approve, verify supplier bank details, and send remittance advices after payment has been authorised. Additionally,you will manage the shared accounts inbox, action emails promptly, and escalate any issues to senior finance members as needed. You will also support credit control activities, such as sending customer statements, resolving customer queries, and chasing overduepayments. Furthermore, you will process new customers and suppliers to the ERP system, ensuring that proper documentation and approvals have been received. Lastly, you will assist with month end or other ad-hoc tasks as requested by senior finance team members,and have the opportunity to gain experience in other areas of finance in line with your studies after six months.Hours of Work: 12-month fixed-term contractAccounts Assistant Requirements:
