Job Description

Wedding & Event Co-ordinatorMy client is opening a vastly expanded hotel which has been created within a heritage listed building that has been restored to a 5* standard and offers hotel bedrooms, suites, a restaurant, conference and banqueting rooms.This positions focuses on the development of the room revenue, and the Corporate Sales Manager is required to proactively generate new business from both local and international clients.You will come with an outstanding background from a major Hotel with excellent track record within the hospitality industry.This is our second hotel and we like our staff to be highly motivated, good fun with fantastic personalities and the ability to get on with anyone. We offer a different approach to the hospitality industry and how we treat our staff.Duties:

  • Researching new direct corporate clients
  • Maintaining relationships with existing corporate clients
  • Cold calling new prospective clients
  • Attendance at key exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Rate negotiation and contracting for corporate clients (including RFP’s)
  • Involvement in social media and e-marketing campaigns
  • The candidate:
  • An organised and focused personality
  • Is professional
  • Is well presented and excels at customer service.
  • Can demonstrate excellent knowledge of the industry and the Sales function
  • Has experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
