Job Description

Trainee Water Hygiene PlumberLeicester £20,000 - £26,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience) A fresh and exciting vacancy has just opened with one of our water & air hygiene management clients. They have over 60 years experience working in the compliance industry making them one of the most knowledgeable companies in the industry.They are seeking dedicated individuals with a level 2 in plumbing to join their team of experts and develop the skills to become a fully-fledged water hygiene plumbing. You will be working to reduce the risk of legionella bacteria across a variety of projects,from small domestic sites to large hospitals.This is a mobile role so a full UK driving license is essential along with a plumbing qualification, but all training past this point will be given from a dedicated and highly experienced senior member of staff.Key Tasks & Duties of a Water Hygiene Plumber:

  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance work to hot and cold water systems.
  • Including the removal of deadlegs, water storage tank refurbishment, hot water cylinder replacements, pipe modifications, cleaning & disinfections, installing and replacing of
  • Work in accordance Water Regulations and in line with the HSG274 & ACoP L8.
  • To ensure onsite records are kept up to date and liaise with the office.
Skills & Experience Required of a Water Hygiene Plumber:
  • You must have a full UK driving licence.
  • You must be at least level 2 qualified in plumbing.
  • Experience in a similar role will be beneficial but full training can be given.
  • You will be hard working and have great communication skills.
