Job Description

Salary: Up to £45k dependant upon experience, with company bonus, car and benefitsJoin the UK’s largest repair group in this fantastic opportunity and become a Vehicle Damage Assessor Technical Trainer.You will be part of the Industry leading training Centre delivering expertise to the group and the external market This role will be pivotal in helping deliver our Training Strategy by helping to reduce reliance on external providers for accreditation andtraining on new technologies & identifying training opportunities that address skill shortages in the industry.This role will deliver training at FMG Repair Services Leicester and other locations as required. Supporting the operation of the wider training portfolio across the business. You will report into the FMG Repair Services, Technical Training Manager.Responsibilities

  • Gain approval working with the management team to achieve IMI VDA accredited centre approval.
  • Deliver training programmes to the agreed standard.
  • Assess the skill level of new and existing VDAs.
  • Plan and run Technical Training programmes as required by the business.
  • Obtain and react to feedback from field managers regarding individual skill set.
  • Promote internal and external qualifications / Certificate of Achievement.
  • Act as a Technical Champion conveying and reinforcing Company Standards.
  • Must keep CPD up to date with courses being delivered in line with examining awarding bodies rule.
