Job Description

We are recruiting for USB Connector Field Engineer in the below areas for Ad- Hoc work starting Mid-October:

  • Leicester
  • Maidstone
  • Bristol
  • Newcastle
  • Liverpool
  • Hemel Hempstead
  • Ipswich
  • Edinburgh
  • Birmingham
  • Southampton
  • Wakefield
The successful Field service engineer will work for a leading worldwide EPoS and IT Service. Engineers will be required to manage and support 122 sites (300 units) replacement of serial cables on SCOs across various locations on ad hoc days.Schedules will be regionalised as per the above locations.What are the rates
  • The successful candidates will be paid £140 per day inclusive of 75miles via an Umbrella or Limited Company
  • Parking, tolls or congestion zone charge may be claimed on expenses.
What are we looking for
  • Experienced IT field engineers with experience of Breakfix and repair of ATM / Epos/ IT equipment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Need a full UK Driving License and a reliable vehicle with appropriate business insurance.
  • Able to pass a basic DBS check.
Working Hours
  • Shifts flexible pending schedule lead time
  • Likely 8am to 6pm with 1 hour travel each way to site and 1 hour for lunch.
  • Sites Per Day - could be multiple sites per day per engineer
