Job Description

Trainee Extraction TechnicianLeicester£18,000-£22,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)Our client has an exciting new temporary vacancy in the Leicestershire area. They are a market leading extraction and ventilation cleaning service provider holding over 20 years of experience. They are looking for hands on individuals to complete deep cleaningservices on kitchen and restaurant extraction systems. Full training will be given for the successful candidates along with all tools, PPE, electronics and company vehicle.This is an exciting chance to receive some great industry training while traveling to different sites all within an hour of Leicester working late shifts and nights so the successful candidate must be flexible with working hours.Key Tasks & Duties of an Extraction Technician:

  • Inspecting, testing and cleaning of extraction systems.
  • Kitchen canopy and filter cleans as well as grease readings.
  • Deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors and all walls.
  • Cutting of access panel and hatches into extraction system.
  • Writing reports of work completed in line with TR19 and taking before and after pictures.
  • Ductwork cleaning and disinfections in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
Key Experience & Skills of an Extraction Technician:
  • A full UK driving license is essential for the position.
  • You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Happy working in confined spaces and at height.
  • Be eager to learn and hold great practical skills.
  • You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
This is a temporary role that will lead into full time employment and a pay review once all training is completed to a satisfactory standard.
