Job Description

Are you an immediately available candidate with an AP background and seeking your next role Look no further! I am recruiting a temporary role for my client for a minimum duration of 3 months.Client DetailsMy client is a successful business based in Thumaston, Leicester. They have an immediate requirement to recruit a professional AP candidate into their team.DescriptionThe role of Purchase ledger Clerk covers a variety of duties including:

  • High volume invoice processing
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Query resolution
  • Preparation and processing of payment runs
  • Month end support within the reporting process
  • Payment of Staff Expenses at the end of the month
  • Running creditor reports and matching to the Trial Balance on a monthly basis
  • Bank postings
  • Rebate calculations
ProfileThe successful candidate will have a proven background in all aspects of purchase ledger and a strong understanding of all things related.You need to understand how purchase ledger activities impact the business, paying suppliers at the right time, managing cash flow and reporting effectively on all purchase ledger activities.Attention to detail is critical.Team work and support to your colleagues is vital for this business.Excellent communication and rapport building skills will be essential.Job Offer
