Job Description

We are currently looking for a Stock and Samples Coordinator to join our commercial team!Working from our Support Office in Leicester you will proactively support the business through the provision of stock and samples.Key Responsibilities Include -

  • Sample Stock ManagementEnsure samples are in stock to agreed levels throughout product lifecycle.
  • Product / Sample RequestsWorking within agreed timescales, ensure all product / sample requests are picked, packed and dispatched, meeting quality and accuracy levels.
  • Tile CuttingTo create sample boards and replenish sample stock.
  • Competitor ResearchAssist with research as required and provide new range recommendations.
  • Product ChampionBecome a go to person for product
  • Support - Proactively support the Sales Teams (Managers, Support and Showrooms alike).
  • Product Knowledge - Continually improve your product knowledge through self-learning using inhouse tools i.e. website, catalogue, the Hub.
  • Supplier RelationshipBuild relationships with suppliers to ensure sample stock is received as desired and reporting when not done so. Highlighting and resolving any supply issues with your team.
  • LibraryAssist with the maintenance and development of the digital and physical library, including supplier brochures and binders.
  • KPIsAssist with compiling and working to agreed KPIs. Understanding these are a tool to monitor Samples team performance with a view to continuous improvement and planning purposes.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required -
  • Systems - A good understanding of Microsoft Office products, primarily Word and Excel.
  • Communication - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire for continual personal and professional development.
  • Pace - Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, where exceeding the clients expectations is crucial to its success.
  • Customer Service - Be passionate about achieving results and delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • AttitudeCan do / will do.
  • Focused - Be able to work well under pressure and remain focussed, positive and professional in an environment where priorities change quickly.
  • Problem SolvingProven collaborative working skills.
  • Organised & StructuredWork in an organised manner with clear daily structure. Maintaining a clean and clear working environment both in the office and within the warehouse.
  • Drivers LicenceSome travel with use of company van may be required.
  • Physically FitAble to lift and move boxes of tiles (upto 20kg), use of equipment.
