Job Description

My client specialise in power generation and storage solutions across the UK. Due to continuing growth, they are looking to bring onboard a Site Operations Technician to operate and maintain plant equipment at their landfill sites. The ideal candidate willhave experience working on landfill power generation equipment and be qualified. You must also be based around the Midlands area.Site Operations Technician - Slough Position Overview

  • Maintaining electrical and mechanical landfill plant equipment such as pumps and motors
  • Providing support to other technicians
  • Stock control including ordering of new parts
  • Gas field monitoring
  • Flare maintenance at client sites
  • Providing assistance with commissioning of generator sets at client hand over
  • Monitoring air emissions
  • Liaising with senior management
  • Travelling to client sites throughout the Midlands area
Site Operations Technician - Slough Position Requirements
  • Hands on experience within an electrical or mechanical field
  • Any experience maintaining gas or diesel generators is highly advantageous and will attract the higher end of the salary bracket.
  • Landfill site operation experience advantageous
  • Happy to partake in a 1 in 4 call out rota
  • Must be ok with working both in a team on your own
  • UK manual driving licence
Site Operations Technician - Slough Position Remuneration
  • Salary £29,900 - £40,000 Depending on experience and qualifications
  • Overtime available
  • On call rate
  • Hours 07:00 - 15:00
  • Holidays 25 days plus Bank Holidays
  • Access to private healthcare after 6 months
  • Training for 18th edition and gas certificates
  • Standard pension
