Job Title – Site Installation SupervisorLocation – Worldwide (Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK)Salary – Up to £32,500 + £20 a night away stay payment + 1.5x overtime over 37 hours (OTE £45k+)Benefits – Pension (5% employee, 7.5% employer), Life Assurance, Laptop, Mobile, Annual BonusThe BusinessOur client specialises in design, build, installation, commissioning and service of bespoke materials handling systems for the Manufacturing Sector. Supplying worldwide their customers vary across a wide variety of industries, with some of their largest clients including Rolls Royce, Wier Minerals and PSA.Founded over 35 years ago, they are part of a multi-billion pound stock market listed engineering business and are a market leader in their sector. The business have continued to expand over the last decade, including the acquisition of two of their competitors to further increase their range of products.The RoleThe Site Installation Supervisor will be responsible for the management of the Installation Teams on customers sites, overseeing the installation of all plant from birth to completion. Managing teams of up to 12 engineers, the Site Installation Supervisor will report directly to the Project Engineer for the duration of the Project.Machines will be delivered in sections in crates to be assembled. All groundwork for foundations and power will be completed before delivery of the machinery, however the Site Installation Supervisor will need to perform a site inspection upon arrival to ensure all work has been completed correctly against the site layout drawing. An inspection will also need to be carried out to ensure the site is safe to work in, plus check all Permits to Work and Method Statements for the team.From there, the Site Installation Supervisor will then need to manage the installation through to completion and sign off.
