Following the award of new projects, aglobal leading manufacturer supplying sectors including aerospace, defence & energy has a new vacancy for a Senior Quality Engineer. Candidates are sought with experience working in a fast-paced precision manufacturingenvironment, with good problem solving skills and will possess a good understanding of APQP, FMEAs, PPAPs.Commutable from: Leicester, Coventry, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Rugby, Loughborough, Coalville.Salary: £ 32,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. + pension Suitable For: Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, SQE, Quality Assurance Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer.The RoleCarry out Root cause analysis and implementing preventative and corrective actionsProvide technical expertise to customers based on specifications/requirementsPlan and carry out internal auditsCompletion, maintenance and review of quality recordsUnderstand organisations Quality Assurance systemsHelp drive continuous improvement and quality through the businessWorking to prevent non-conformances, customer complaints, concession and reworkWork closely with suppliers and coordinate supplier manufacturing processes & performanceSupport quality improvement activities within manufacturingCompletion of all quality documentation and non-conformance reports etcSupport quality improvement activities within manufacturingImplement preventative actions for quality issuesThe PersonAn experienced quality professional, you will have good understanding of all quality tools and processes including APQP, PPAP, FMEAs with good problem solving skills and New Product Introduction.
