Band 8A£45,753.00– £51,668.00 per annumWe are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Perfusion Scientist who works well under pressure who is looking to work in a busy Cardiac Centre undertaking a full range of Perfusion techniques. The post gives the opportunity to become an important member of a team of 10.58 Perfusionists providing the most up to date techniques in Perfusion including Adults, Paediatrics and ECMO.The post is a permanent post within the department in order to expand the Perfusion Service in anticipation for the move of Paediatric services to the Leicester Royal Infirmary in April 2021 The department currently undertakes 1300 adult and 380 neonatal/paediatric cases, along with 100 neonatal, paediatric and adult ECMO’s and IABP support.You must be accredited by the Society of Perfusionists of Great Britain & Ireland and registered with the College of Clinical Perfusionists of Great Britain & Ireland, and it would be an advantage to be conversant with all relevant perfusion techniques.
