Job Title: Senior Operations Support & Field Engineer Duration: PermLocation: LeicesterAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a successful candidate to join my client, who is a leader in providing excellent air quality. Providing a number of data, software and hardware services, my client has unparalleled air quality expertise in sensor design,pollution modelling and analysis and use this to provide advice and support to government and industry globally.As such, they are looking for keen and capable technician to take responsibility for the support and maintenance to a widening community of deployed air quality monitors. The role will include both on-site and remote support for air quality monitor deploymentand maintenance, as well as fault investigation and resolution. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Operations.Key Responsibilities*Maintain inventory of goods in and out*Maintain records and quality assure customer deliveries*Maintain inventory of hardware returns*Manage refurbishment and hardware rental processes*Undertake field work as required*Following appropriate health and safety protocols across all business activity*Maintain and monitor the sensor fleet*Undertake support resolution as appropriate with focus on high customer satisfaction and clear communications*Identify and raise risks when identified*Follow quality processes and identify areas for improvement where possible in line with ISO 9001 and 14001To be considered for this role one must demonstrate the following;*Motivated to succeed with a Can Do attitude*Eye for detail and good organisation skills*Customer first approach, careful and diligent*Pragmatic and creative thinker*Comfortable in fast paced scale-up environmentEssential*Formal Qualification within Electrical/ Electronics.*Experience with standard software packages such as CRM and ERPs. *Full UK driving licence.*Excellent verbal and written communications.*Good problem-solving skills*Able to work safely and effectively at height in the field*Full clean driving licenceDesirable*Understanding of air quality monitoring and modelling techniques*Experience with writing Risk Assessments and method Statements. *Geospatial knowledge*Experience with SQL *Knowledge of firmware*Fieldwork experienceSpring Engineering Solutions (a trading name of Roevin Management Services Limited) acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
