Senior Engineer (Biomass)Leicestershire£37,000 - £42,000 + Vehicle + Phone & Laptop + Progression + PensionAre you an experienced boiler engineer and have experience with Biomass Would you like to be part of an established company where you benefit from clear career progression and the ability to hold both engineering and managerial responsibilitiesIn this role you will be working both in the office and at various sites to provide servicing solutions for biomass boilers to both the companys engineers and clients.The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of biomass boilers from having spent several years in a relevant O&M role, and will now be looking to take the next step up in the career ladder by spending some of their time performing managerial duties from an office.This is a great role for someone who wants the best of both worlds when it comes to an engineering job - you will still be able to get directly involved in the servicing of plant equipment such as boilers, but you will also take on the responsibility for assisting other engineers in the company when it comes to servicing such things.The role:* Split between office and site work* Developing the Tech Support side of the business to support 3rd party clients and internal engineers* Reviewing issues on site and supervising Field Service Engineers* Diagnosing issues and completing surveys* Providing solutions to boiler faults/breakdownsThe person:* Lives in commutable distance from Leicester area* Experience of servicing and/or commissioning biomass boilers, CHP or steam plant* Understanding of things such as mechanical heating pipework designs, plant room control systems, electrical inspections and control systems* Good fault finding/diagnostic skills* Organised and able to help others through clear communication of technical informationRise Technical Recruitment Ltd regrets to inform that our client can only accept applications from engineering candidates who have a valid legal permit or right to work in the United Kingdom.Potential candidates who do not have this right or permit, or are pending an application to obtain this right or permit should not apply Required skills
