Job Description

Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer - PLC LeicesterManufacturingMonday to Friday - Days£45,000 - £50,000Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with an international known manufacturing company based in Leicester. Due to increased expansion and workload this is an exciting time to join a world-renowned company.Job Role:As an Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for electrical equipment onsite.Typical Duties will involve:

  • Provide an electrical engineering service to the production team to achieve minimal down time
  • Proactive for carrying out planned maintenance duties
  • React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
  • Installation of electrical machinery
  • Troubleshoot PLC, Industrial Control systems and relay control circuits
  • Ability to work on the latest PLC technology modifying and fault finding
  • Reading advance electrical drawings
  • Ability to work with different types of drives and HMIs
  • Maintain documentation, log all breakdowns and servicing work
  • On call rota 1 in 3
Desirable experience
  • Electrical knowledge - Required
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field - Required
  • Experience with equipment ranging from conveyors, compressors, cranes, flow wrappers and robotics
  • PLC - Required
  • Health and Safety conscious
