Delivering high quality services and resources informed by research and best practice, to provide those working with children with the confidence, knowledge and skills to safeguard them.As a Senior Consultant you will contribute to the work of a unique and highly influential initiative to safeguard all children in and through sport. The Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) was set up to translate into action ambitious plans to raise safeguarding awareness, standards, knowledge and skills throughout sport and activity.The role of Senior Consultant has a particular focus on supporting Sport England and UK Sport funded national governing bodies of sport to meet safeguarding requirements. You will also represent the Unit in a range of multi-agency forums including those linked to the new Sport Safeguarding Partnership strategy for 2017-21 as well as insight into the new strategy starting in 2021.About you:We are looking for a high calibre individual with significant direct experience of child protection practice and up to date working knowledge of child care law who has the following skills and experience:
