Job Description

Sales & Purchase Ledger AdministratorSalary: £19,000 - £21,000 per annumLocation: Leicester (Syston)Hours: Contracted to 37.5 hours per weekFlogas Britain Ltd is currently recruiting for a Sales & Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their head office team in Leicester. Responsible for setting up customer accounts and sales invoices processing, the Sales & Purchase Ledger Administrator willundertake duties such as processing supplierinvoices and credits, raising supplier payments either via BACs, cheque or faster payment, statement reconciliations, the allocation of all payments, processing of expenses, GRNI review and liaising with internal and external suppliers/customers. This is afantastic opportunity for a candidate with experience in purchase ledger or sales ledger administration, who has a passion for delivering excellent customer service.The Role

  • Handling customer and supplier queries, both internally and externally.
  • Allocation of payments and payment run processing weekly to include: Bacs, Faster payments and CHAPS
  • Posting deliveries, credit notes & miscellaneous Sales
  • Email & phone queries
About You
  • Have previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Sales Ledger Administrative position for minimum of 1 year
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel and Word
  • Flexible approach to work and willing to work overtime during busy periods to meet demand.
  • Customer-focused, and can communicate clearly and confidently with customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels
