Job Description

Sales Ledger Administrator | Glenfield |Part Time 30 Hours | Temp to Perm | Salary Up To £13phHave you been waiting for the opportunity to utilise your Sales Ledger skills in an exciting and rewarding new roleIf this answer is yes… Youre in the right place!Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with an exciting new client who are on the lookout for an experienced and determined Sales Ledger Administrator to join their team on a temp to perm basis.Role Details:

  • Flexible part time hours between 7:00 -22:00
  • 30 hours per week
  • Salary Up to £13ph - dependent on experience
  • Temporary and Permanent opportunity
The Role & Your Responsibilities:
  • To manage the sales ledger functions utilising SAGE. Creating accounts for customers and generating customer invoices, credit notes and refunds.
  • Maintain accuracy in the sales ledger actively reconciling customer accounts, allocating payments and producing monthly statements to assist with the resolution of account queries.
  • To manage customer debt by producing regular aged debt reports and chasing debtors. Dealing with invoicing queries in an effective and timely manner.
  • Utilising SAGE system to perform a range of month end procedures to capture levels of income and expenditure across the business: providing a range of reports and financial information to managers and budget holders.
  • To ensure promotion and implementation of the business policies in relation to equalities: to ensure that all work is conducted in a safe and effective way in line with Health & Safety requirements.
  • The post holder may also be required to undertake any other duties that may from time to time be required, taking into account the post holders knowledge, skills and experience.
Experience Sought In The Successful Candidate:
  • Great communication skills & a confident telephone manner
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages - Especially excel
