If your passions aretravel and engineering and you have a sales and/or engineering background, its time to grab your bags and start your adventure.BASIC SALARY: Up to £40,000BENEFITS: Performance Benefits 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays PensionLOCATION: Youll be based at our offices in Coalville, (when youre not off on your global travels) so you could live in Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Sheffield, Rugby, Coventry, Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Derby, Burton-upon-Trent,Stoke-on -Trent, Hinckley, Daventry or anywhere commutable to Coalville.JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Engineer / Sales ExecutiveWorking closely with your Regional Sales Manager as our Sales Engineer / Sales Executive youll be supporting our international clients throughout Europe, Asia and Russia with their mining & quarrying crusher parts, spares and service requirements including:Account Management -uncovering opportunities to increase revenue and ensuring customers are receiving the high quality service were known for. Business Development - Uncovering new sales opportunities either from within your portfolio of existing clients or through engaging new clients. Building and maintaining great relationships to understand your customers requirements and their challenges so you can provide a quality solution.Managing your own diary, keeping in touch with your clients by phone, email and online meetings, you will plan and manage your own time and travel.Youre likely to be away for 7-10 days to maximise your trips and you should expect to travel overseas at least 1 or 2 times a quarter - more if needed.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Executive / Sales EngineerYour customer will be at the centre of everything you do, so you will:Identify and win new business from existing and new clients Develop your skills to become THE go-to person for any potential incoming enquiries. Produce and deliver accurate quotes for parts, service and service agreements Pro-actively promote our full portfolio of products and servicePERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Executive / Sales EngineerWhether youre an experienced capital equipment sales person, an engineer thinking of a career in sales or youre seeking your first move into sales, this role is open to you.All that we ask is:You MUST be willing / able to travel overseas for up to 30% of your time and have the self-reliance to adapt should circumstances change as you go. You MUST have a sales, technical or engineering background. You may already speak a second language (Russian ideally) but you should be willing to learn, if you dont.This will be the perfect role if you have a thirst for adventure and travel, have a passion for meeting new people across different cultures and a genuine interest in engineering.THE COMPANY:We are one of the worlds leading providers of crushing equipment to the mining and aggregate sector, with a global presence, sales in over 120 countries.
