Job Description

The Company:

The Role:
  • This Sales Engineer position is a field based role working from home.
  • You will be tasked with contacting new and existing customers to understand their requirements with regard to PLC, sensors, control systems, vision systems and much more.
  • You will be given full training on the product portfolio; position sensors, safety technology, industrial communications and systems for machines and will become an expert on all things industrial sensor.
  • You will be speaking to a wide and diverse client base, which consists of Automotive, Aerospace, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical companies amongst many others.
  • On occasion, you will also go out onto site to help customers solve problems face to face.
  • £50k, £57k OTE Uncapped + Benefits + Car.
The Ideal Person:
  • A background in electrical/electronic engineering would be best suited.
  • Automation / PLC / Sensor experience.
  • Some exposure to a sales environment.
  • Innovative, tenacious and positive.
  • You must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to sell over the phone.
  • ONC/HNC level qualification in engineering.
  • Experience of sensor technology in a wide range of industrial automation applications would be desirable.
