Job Description

UK Sales and MarketingAlfen are delighted to be working exclusively with a trailblazer within the IoT space. Due to my client’s explosive growth, we’re looking for a talented UK Sales & Marketing Executive to join their team in their Leicester HQ. The company will offer flexible working hours in a techy and food lovers paradise.Role - UK Sales and Marketing

  • Sales: help the business hit agreed sales and marketing targets as part of the company strategy in the UK.
  • Sales B2B:
  • Current customers:
  • identify and organise cross-promotions with new/existing partners
  • Build good relationships with current customers to ensure they are supported and promoting our product fully to make orders and increase sales
  • New customers:
  • Inbound: work through inbound leads to maximise relationships and sales
  • Outbound:
  • plan and organise and execute promotions using email campaigns, social media, paid ads.
  • work with web developers to update landing pages, offers, promotions
  • Marketing
  • Plan, create and run paid ad campaigns in Facebook, Google and other platforms
  • Identify new influencers, negotiate agreements and keep ongoing good relationships.
  • Be proactive in relevant online groups (Facebook, Blogs, YouTube). Run promotions and offer help and assistance. Identify people who have had negative experience and turn into positive reviews.
  • Identify, organise, setup and attend events as required.
  • Reputation Management: to monitor, improve and ensure that our product has high scores for all review platforms (e.g Amazon, Yopto, Facebook)
  • Translations: work with translators help with translations as per company requirements.
  • Press Relations: work with PR team(s) to ensure strategy is being executed as agreed.
  • Social Media (eg: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Linkedin)
  • Organic: create content calendars for various countries, execute the social media plan, monitor social interactions to ensure a great social media reputation.
  • Paid: help to create paid ad content. Generate ideas and concepts for different countries. Execute and monitor ad spend and performance.
  • Responsibilities
  • Be proactive in team weekly team meetings. Report and review sales performance (Amazon, B2B) towards targets and budgets.
  • Keep up to date "actions list" to review and prioritise with Line Manager as required.
