Job Description

REVIT TECHNICIAN, £25000-£35000, 33 DAYS LEAVE, BUPA HEALTH CARE, PENSION, GYM MEMBERSHIPPosition: Revit TechnicianLocation: LeicesterSalary: £25000 - £35000 per annumBenefits: 33 days leave, Bupa health care, discretionary bonus, gym membershipHours: Monday to Friday 07.00 - 4.30pmOur clients are a Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental design consultancy company offering designs across all sectors in the construction industry.You will work closely with architects and engineers to develop plans for clients. Your excellent artistic, technical and computer skills along with your ability to create technical drawings and three-dimensional building designs will secure your interview.This role provides an exciting opportunity to join the team working to deliver innovative and creative structural design solutions to our clients.The Responsibilities of a Revit Technician is:

  • Create designs and prepare technical drawings using REVIT for tender stage and construction
  • Produce and revise layouts, design and working drawings
  • Meet project requirements in collaboration with other disciplines
  • Work to tight timescales and budgets with minimum supervisor
  • Review project files for compliance with standards / protocols
The Requirements of a Revit Technician is:
  • Very good CAD experience using Revit software with suitable qualifications.
  • Experience with Google SketchUp or similar to produce visualisations would be an advantage.
  • Able to demonstrate full awareness and knowledge of UK building regulations within the Building and Construction industry.
  • Able to work methodically, accurately but at the same time quickly.
  • Good communication skills, able to be clear and concise with information and support the team.
  • Knowledge of structural engineering modelling
