Job Description

Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer Leicester Salary up to 38k - Overtime & 27 days Holiday plus bank holidaysMonday to Friday - 37.5 hoursGi Group are offering a fantastic opportunity to join the FM service within NHS property as a Maintenance refrigeration engineer - Refrigeration based in LeicesterThe role is to support the NHS to deliver building maintenance and repairs across the NHS. This is to ensure buildings across the NHS are maintained to the highest standards to provide safe and secure environment for visitors, customers and employees. Main Duties:

  • This will include fault finding and ensuring satisfactory fault rectification always maintaining site services levels
  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance on Building Service systems
  • Maintaining AHUs and FCUs / VRVs and VRFs
  • Complying with all Health and Safety policies, procedures and legislation to ensure statutory and mandatory compliance.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and environment standards.
  • Competency in manual handling, working at height, confined spaces, legionella & asbestos awareness.
  • Able to identify electrical faults and carry out building repairs.
  • Good communication, numeracy, literacy, working with IT and Office 365 or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working within a buildings maintenance environment.
  • Previous experience of undertaking minor works and repairs.
  • Ensure NHS buildings are maintained to the highest standards
  • Respond to daily call outs
  • Understand the importance of maintaining NHS buildings for the safety of visitors, customers and employees
  • Support the Building Services maintenance team and colleagues in always providing excellent customer service.
Essential qualifications:
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • Health and safety
  • Air Con knowledge & basic qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
