Job Description

Recruitment OfficerWe are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Officer to work with one of our fantastic Public Sector clients in Leiceter, LE3 / Hybrid.This a 3 month temporary position initially, with chance of extension, but one in which you would be able to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.If you have worked within the public sector before this would be advantageous but not essential. If you have transferable experience, then we would love to hear from you.The postholder will:" Be responsible for the operational delivery of recruitment programmes in line with the regional/national recruitment project plan, local Annual Plan, specialty specific timelines and regional/national direction." Successfully undertake devolved autonomy of the end-to-end recruitment process to include vacancy creation; longlisting; shortlisting; interview/selection centre; offers and feedback" Support the Recruitment Administrator(s), advising on technical aspects, with the expectation they will take ownership and deliver the responsibilities devolved to them from the Recruitment Coordinator(s). " Liaise extensively with functions in other regions with respect to the regional/national vacancies to gain all pertinent information. " Attend specialty specific regional/national training meetings." Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of Oriel and willingness to support ongoing system development. " Undertake detailed and complex data analysis and statistical reporting." Oversee the management of the regional/national recruitment inbox(es) on a daily basis and be the point of escalation for queries. " Maintain regional/national recruitment website and use of social media." Lead by example to ensure delivery of an excellent customer service in line with the Recruitment team KPIs. Use KPI results to support the Annual Appraisals" Provide training advice and support on own area of responsibility and able to support the induction/training of staff within own area." Uses organisation equipment and resources effectively and encourages others to do the same. Responsibility for financial control held." Responsible for maintaining one or more system or database e.g., Project information systems, using information systems to create reportsSkillis and Qualifications required;" Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent knowledge gained through experience of working at a similar level in specialist area." ECDL or equivalent IT qualification or demonstrable knowledge" Expert knowledge of (or working towards) the Gold Guide" Knowledge of administrative procedures relating to Recruitment" Knowledge of employment law and Border Agency rules relating to recruitment" Use of Oriel, Intrepid and e-portfolio" Able to communicate complex information and administrative matters, requiring developed interpersonal and oral / written communication skills." Ability to pull together comprehensive draft reports, data and letters, sourcing information as required." Able to quality check and compare data." Negotiating, networking and persuasive skills" Problem solving skills and the ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands." Keyboard skills, use of a range of software" Skills for manipulating information." Able to engender trust and confidence and demonstrate integrity in the provision of advice and support."
