Job Description

Do you have a burning passion for recruitment and looking to build experience to shape your careerPrime Life are on the lookout for a passionate and proactive individual to join ourdynamic Recruitment team in Leicester as a Recruitment Coordinator.Some relevent experience within a similar role,perhaps within a recruitment agency or from an in-houserole, is essential. There are ample opportunities to progress with us at Prime Life and in return for your hard work and commitment, we will provideevery opportunity for you to succeed in your career.As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will proactively manage vacancies within a number of Nursing and Residential homes across the UK. The role will require regular travel, so a Full UK Driving License is essential. The key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Engaging with Managers and Stakeholders to fill key vacancies within our Nursing and Residential Homes
  • Conducting regular site visits to meet with Hiring Managers and review their recruitment and advertising strategy
  • Maintaining regular contact with new hires during their offer, on-boarding and probationary periodto ensure they are happy and fulfilled in their new role
  • Advertising vacancies across a variety of platforms and mediums via an applicant tracking system
  • Carrying out pre-employment checks and on-boarding tasks for new hires made against your vacancies
  • Sending out letters, emails and communication to prospective and new employees
  • Data entry, data collation and utilisation of Excel spreadsheets to track progress on Referencing and DBS checks
  • Attending recruitment fairs and careers events as and when required
  • Providing routine updatesto the Recruitment Manager, Home Managers and Regional Management teams as required
What are we looking for in our Recruitment CoordinatorYoull need to be a confident, enthusiastic and proactive individual to make a real success of this role. With plenty to keep you busy, and lots of recruitment activity required, time management skills and the ability to prioritise is essential. Youll spenda lot of time on the phone communicating with new and prospective employees, key stakeholders within the companyand outside agencies, so a professional and friendly telephone manner is essential.We are keen to hear from individuals who have experience within Health and Social Care, though this is not essential. Prior experience within a recruitment or HR position, ideally within an internal position, is key for this role as you will need to be ableto quickly develop relationships and manage your vacancies to place candidates within tight deadlines.We look forward to receiving your application, and will ensure to be in touch should you match our requirements.
