The Institute is one of only 6 nationally recognised as an Academic Centreof Excellence in Cyber Security Research and awarded gold as an Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education, the CTI is keen to continue expanding on their research and enterprise potential through their strong existing links with industry, suchas their Industrial Advisory Group, and new links with organisations globally.Role The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Institute in the co-ordination and growth of their external contacts.Duties for the role include but are not limited to: Identifying and developing leads into new commercial or research funding. Supporting and coordinating the Schools existing portfolio of commercial and research projects Managing recruitment onto CPD and Postgraduate courses. Assisting in bid writing and co-ordination of consortia, involving participants from both academia and industry, for applications to national and international funding bodies.The role is on a fixed term contract until 31st July 2024.Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have a track record in identifying and developing commercial or academic funding streams. Ideally, the candidate will have some experience in contract writing. The nature of the role means that the successful candidate willhave excellent time management and co-ordination skills, with the ability to work independently or within a team as required.
