Job Description

Job Title: Production Foreman - Night ShiftLocation: LeicesterSalary: £15.49 per hr + BonusesJob type: Full time - 4 X 12 hr shifts - paid hour lunchK2 Polymers have been at the leading edge of high technology, industrial and commercial, reclamation and recycling since 1988.Climate change awareness, the need to reduce consumer reliance on fossil fuels, offshore platform decommissioning and waste management are the driving forces for global growth in this sector.   • The candidate will also have man management skills and experience over a small but continuous production system
  • Plastics/extrusion experience is essential
  • Fork truck experience also preferred but again not essential if right candidate.
  • Fit and healthy individuals as heavy lifting is required.
  • Must have previous machine operating experience.
Day Duties:
  • The night shift foremans job will entail, after the initial training period, will be to start the relevant machinery for the correct running conditions and material types
  • Subject to experience the foreman would also be expected to load and run the same machinery as this job is very much a "hands On" type position.
  • Duties will also include shredding granulating and re-compounding.
  • Carry out machine operation functions as per job instructions
  • Work as part of a team
  • Maintain clean work space and environment
