Everyone we have sent forward to interview with this company has wanted the jobwithout a single exception!Theres something about what they do, their culture and the people who work there that tick so many boxes for people. Its somewhere that hires good and exceptionally smart people, to deliver really cool, people-centred services and software used by someof the most prestigious companies anywhere to be found.Their product team is growing. They have got by with a small team so far, a combination of classically trained POs and other industry experts who have moved across into product. However, they now want to hire 2 more experienced Product Owners who have come from an agile software delivery background and who can help them move their products forward as they enter a new phase of growth.None of the elements of the role will come as a surprise to existing Agile Product Owners. Its a fairly standard set of responsibilities: Working with customers, developers, colleagues to develop and enhance their suite of products, utilising qualitativeand quantitative data to guide the product roadmap and prioritising productfeatures. However, a key element to this role is being able to say no! One of the challenges here is that they have a heterogenous client base who all want different things and your job will be to decipher what changes contribute to the overall roadmap and whichones will only benefit a limited number of customers.Itll be tough, as youll need to be able to navigate existing customer relationships and work with the sales/account management team to rein them in at times, of course using your exceptional people skills to smooth things over! You can work from home mostly in this role with travel into London and/or Birmingham once a month or so to meet with your peers. They have people based as far North as Northumberland, so as long as you are willing to travel into one of their offices monthlyyou should be fine.On offer is a basic salary between £45k - £55k + 25 days holiday + share scheme + life cover + 5% pension + more. Please apply for a guaranteed reply from one of our Rebel Recruiters, or call us to find out morethis employer is ready to go and interview at fairly short notice if required.
