The candidate must be experienced in print finishing and have at least 2 years knowledge and operating experience of folding and/or stitching machines within the industry.The key tasks are to set up and operate some or all paper folding machines, paper stitching machines, paper cutting machines (guillotines) and ancillary equipment to production requirements ensuring quality standards are achieved.Set and make ready operating equipment prior to use.Operate equipment to enable the production of customer product to desired specification.Complete paperwork and pack finished product ready for transfer to despatch department.Ensure daily safety checks, machine clearance checking and quality checks as per company policies.The role also requires a high degree of flexibility and willingness to assist in any other print finishing areas.
