Job Description

Principal Noise / Acoustic Consultant - LeicesterOur client is a market leading Environmental Consultancy who specialise in development engineering and environmental acoustics. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Principal Noise Consultant to join their team in Leicester.Projects will be provided for both public and private sector clients and include sectors such as residential, commercial and healthcare.Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years commercial experience as an Acoustician (backgrounds in environmental acoustics are preferable)
  • Full Institute of Acoustics Membership is essential
  • Demonstrable experience including Environmental Noise Surveys, Noise Modelling & general acoustic consultancy duties.
    • Duties will include:
  • Management of noise projects in line with company regulations.
  • Managerial duties including growth and recruitment of the Acoustic Team as well as guidance and support of junior members.
  • Business development activities
  • Involvement in noise & vibration design including accumulation of data, report writing and fee proposals.
    • Your communication skills should be to a very high standard and you should have a robust knowledge of technical guidelines and regulations including BB93, EIA & BS4142.If successful, you will have the opportunity to work on cross-discipline projects with some of the industrys leading engineers and consultants; some of whom will be in the team you manage!
